It's Official!

Based on everyone's feedback, venue availability and pricing, we placed a deposit today for FRIDAY, November 29th at The Rabbit Room!!!  An informal after party will follow, likely at The Brewery.

I know some folks preferred Christmas to Thanksgiving, but the majority of those with a date preference chose Thanksgiving.  Our sincere apologies to anyone inconvenienced by this decision.

Moving forward, tickets will go on sale September 1 and will remain on sale for 6-8 weeks.  Payments will be taken via Paypal or by U.S. mail.  We expect tickets to be about $50 per person, but will not have a final figure until September 1.

So, put the date on your calendar and go buy a festive outfit.  In the meantime, if you haven't already, pleas email HFL2003reunion@gmail.com with your contact information, and any questions you have about the reunion!

Reunion Planning Underway

Believe it or not, it's been ten years since we last sat in the Senior Cafeteria.  We've got a lot of catching up to do.

Planning is now underway for our 10 year reunion.  Venue and date are not yet finalized, but should be set by the end of the month.  For your planning purposes, Friday, November 29 looks like the best option at the moment, as many local venues are already booked around Christmas time, but again, that is not finalized.

By now, most of you should have received a request for contact information via Facebook.  If you are interested in attending or helping organize the reunion, please send an updated email address and/or phone number to HFL2003reunion@gmail.com.  We'll make sure you stay in the loop as planning progresses and tickets go on sale.

Finally, if you have one minute's time to spare, answer the poll question on our blog.  The biggest challenge we face at the moment is estimating numbers.  The Rabbit Room, which would be an ideal, local venue cannot accommodate more than 175-200 people.  To ensure we don't have to turn people away from our reunion (which would be unthinkably awful), we need a sense of how many people plan to attend.  If the response is robust, we will find a larger space.

Feel free to send an email to HFL2003reunion@gmail.com with any questions, and check back in periodically for updates.
